Ingredients

large flaked oatmeal

cups
water
1/4
teaspoon
salt

fresh sliced strawberries
1/2
cup
fresh cream

brown sugar
Instructions
In large pot bring 4 cups water to a boil, add salt.
Slowly add oatmeal, stirring continually.
Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until all the water has evaporated.
Remove from heat, stir in the strawberries. Cover and leave sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve with brown sugar and fresh cream.
Notes
For ultra creamy oatmeal, use 2 cups of water and 2 cups of milk.
