Soft fluffy banana spice cookies

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3/4 cup butter room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup overripe bananas
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together the butter and brown sugar until it is creamy.
Add the eggs and beat until combined.
Stir in the vanilla and bananas. Blend until fully combined.
Gradually add in the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
Drop a heaping scoop of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 11-13 minutes until the tops of the cookies are slightly brown.
Remove and place on wire rack to cool.
