Orange Soda Cake
This recipe for Orange Soda Cake is a tasty, quick and easy bundt cake recipe. Incredible, zesty orange flavor in an ultra moist cake!

Orange Soda Cake is quick to make with the help of a box cake mix. Now I’m usually a bake from scratch kind of girl, but every once in a while you gotta try something different. There are many recipes on the web using soda in cakes and thought I would give it a try with orange flavour. I must say it turned out fantastic! I also added some orange zest to the cake for an extra boost of orange flavour. Any brand of orange soda will work for this recipe, I use my favorite Orange Crush. For the ultimate flavor explosion serve this bundt cake with an Orange Tinto De Verano cocktail.

This cake is incredibly moist and delicious! To add an additional touch of citrus sweetness I topped the cake with an orange glaze. This cake baked up perfectly in my decorative bundt pan. I own a collection of decorative bundt cake pans like the one I use for my Chocolate Ganache Cake. These cake pans make any cake look like they were bought at a fancy bakery.

Orange Soda Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding 4 ounce size
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup orange soda
- 1 tbsp orange zest grated
Orange Glaze
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 teaspoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Grease bundt pan with butter. Use a brush to get all the crevices.
- In a large mixing bowl combine the cake mix and dry pudding mix.
- In a separate bowl whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, orange soda and orange zest.
- Stir into the dry ingredients. Blend until combined.
- Pour into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until done. Toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the cake completely on a wire rack before removing from the cake pan.
Prepare Glaze for the Cake
- Whisk together the confectioners' sugar, orange juice and milk.
- Drizzle evenly over the cake.
