Tips for making these cookies

  • Line the baking pan with parchment paper to prevent candy from sticking to baking sheet.
  • Any two cookie cutters will work as long a small size fits into larger cutter and leaves enough dough to hold the candies in.
  • Use any hard colorful candy you like. I usually use Lifesavers or Jolly Ranchers.
  • The amount of candy required will depend on size of center you cut out. These cookies took 5-6 crushed candies.
  • These stained glass looking cookies look beautiful, but you can decorate them even more with some royal icing. Check out my post on How to Make and Decorate cookies with Royal Icing. These Christmas cookies are so easy to make and everyone will rave about your decorative cookies!
